Traveling to Iowa to work with the Simpson College Jazz Ensemble!
Very excited to head down to Indianola, IA to work with the Simpson College Jazz Ensemble under the direction of very talented Dr. Brian Rodesch! In addition to performing with them, they will be premiering a new big band chart of mine. The performance is Tuesday, April 10 at 7:00pm in the Amy Robertson Music Center. I am very thankful for the opportunity to work with some outstanding musicians on this project: Clay Jenkins (trumpet), Brian Claxton (drums), Kate Skinner (piano/vocal), and Josh Skinner (bass). Headed to the recording studio in September to record 9 original compositions with Clay Jenkins, Kate Skinner, Josh Skinner, and Brian Claxton.
After about a year of planning and writing several new compositions, I am thrilled to announce I will be heading to the studio with some amazing musicians to record an album of my original work. Joining me will be Clay Jenkins (trumpet), Kate Skinner (piano/vocals), Josh Skinner (bass), and Brian Claxton (drums). The official release date will be early 2018!
